We had a great day at the Cromwell Races on December 1st catering for Peregrine Winery's Christmas staff party, literally trackside! It was, as usual a very hot day but a hefty breeze was coming through which made the heat tolerable but blew our delicate canapes around a little! On the menu was a Christmas ham of course, our 6 hour braised Merino Silere lamb shoulder and East Coast blue cod finished w caper mayo and crispy ciabatta crumbs.

It looked like a great turnout once again with most of the Queenstown caterers and Wanaka caterers busy at work! We got to do a glory lap once we left, in between races, as the only way to let our truck out was to drive a way down the track to much applause from the crowd!!
